JS THE BEST is a midwest/southern rapper incorporating various styles to produce a sound of his own. With such a huge heart for music, JS was quickly picked up by R&B/Pop artist Mini Curry and legendary saxophonist AL Chisolm III and taken under their creative wings. Fostering his natural talent as an artist, the rapper's childhood was heavily influenced by these musical greats, proving super conducive to his drive and culmination as a rapper.
2018 marked the first single release under JS using JS THE BEST as his artist name. The title was called “Workin'”, released under his own label, Elevate Music Global. Elevate Music is anotjer of JS’ brain children, and since 2018, hes only seen success with the label. When it comes to msuic releases and performing live+ onstage, JS THE BEST doesn’t shy away from any opportunity. The rapper has shared stages with the likes of T.I, 2 CHAINZ, TRAE THA TRUTH and Kehlani, and has been featured on platforms such as Sirius XM Radio. As of late, JS THE BEST has collaborated with Tory Lanez, Trick Trick, Bonecrusher, and Polo Frost.
JS THE BEST is quick to let his listeners know, from his name to his sound, simply put, he is always striving to be his best at all times. It's a mentality to put your all into everything you are doing, give it your best! For his latest single release “Stop Hatin’”, JS’ message is perfectly clear. In a catchy homage to Juicy J & ThreeSix Mafia’s track, "Slob On My Knob" respectively. With such a serious message delivered in a funny tone, the track is a message to the haters, near and far. When it comes to delivering messages within meanings in each of his tracks, JS THE BEST uses themes and comical delivery to get his point across.
When it comes to being “more than just an artist/rapper”, JS THE BEST has creative aspirations and appearances beyond the music industry. Having recently established his own brand called 'WeUp Nation, meant to house his creative ambitions, musically or otherwise.
When it comes to the film industry, JS THE BEST is set to appear in the film “Bigger Than The Game”, holding a debut role alongside influential artists like Trick Trick and Young Buck. With an impressive set of credentials despite “just getting started”, in his words, JS THE BEST’s best tears are ahead of him, and is looking forward to what his current projects he is working on hold for the future.
