James Broadnax Jr . (born June 06, 1998 ), known professionally as Babyblack, is an American Singer/ Rapper/ songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for his single " Can You Twerk " feat Dre Butterz. BabyBlack has always been musically gifted. From a young age, he was always singing and performing.
"My cousin, Barry inspired me. We were the same age but he was really into music and making beats. We had a connection and each time we got together we goofed around and would freestyle."
It wasn't long before BabyBlack branched out and began his own musical journey, taking the skills he developed on a more lax playing field to the big leagues. With much success after his hot single, "Can You Twerk", BabyBlack has embarked on new adventures creating new projects and establishing relationships around the country. Recently, BabyBlack was seen in Chicago for the P.U.S.H Awards put together by the honorary Jesse Jackson SR. Where recipients such as Trae The Truth (hiphop rapper), Joseph Sikora (Starz tv show Power) and several others were given unique awards hand picked by Mr.Jackson.
BabyBlack also just had a huge show with HipHop icon Lil Durk at the Little Caesars Arena, a monumental event venue for superstars. We look forward to seeing more of BabyBlack and hearing new exciting music!
