A&R and producer, Flex is taking on a challenge outside of what he is known for in the music industry to create better access to food and materials, by teaming up with Jikoro Sciences as their new Director of Strategy. Using his knowledge from working in the music industry, where he orchestrated the creative direction of production for group member ArJayOnTheBeat producing for French Montana, DJ Mustard, Shoreline Mafia, 03 Greedo, Drakeo The Ruler, Kalan.Frfr and some of the hottest names in the industry, to discovering and helping develop new artists. For instance, in 2016, Flex was instrumental to Grammy-award winning and Dream Chasers Records artist, Vory, signing a management deal. Now, Flex has become a strong asset to the Jikoro team by utilizing skills learned about cryptocurrencies and blockchain to help take the innovative company to new heights. As the Director of Strategy, he has brought upon the challenge to fuse the innovative ideas that were formulated within the company to solve real world problems.
Although it is new waters for him to dive into, Flex has always prided himself in being a self-taught learner, always researching to find ways to improve his skills in whatever he puts his efforts into. Transitioning from the music industry, it is almost second nature for him to jump right in while using what he knows. Taking on the title of Director of Strategy, he now uses his business experience gained in the music industry to help
the company achieve their main objective of developing technologies that improve access to food and material by enhancing traceability while improving consumer and producer interactions to meet the high demand for the current world population. And as population continues to grow, climate change will to alter the way food is produced and sourced. This approach will be successfully completed using their blockchain method. The resulting solution will bring sustainable food and material to everyone.
As expected, it has not been hard for him to juggle both careers since taking on the new challenge. Jikoro's main focus is to solve real world problems by developing frontier technology and making products accessible to every consumer. With his background in the music industry, Flex is used to working in creative environments that welcome new ideas just like the music industry. When it comes to Jikoro, Flex realized they needed someone to help give them the push to innovate while merging crypto and blockchain to enhance their mission. He also is an expert when it comes to handling multiple tasks at once while being efficient.
