Well-known multi-talented artist Jeff Fettes, also known as Riotron, is dropping a brand new animated music video for his collaborative track with bounce music queen Big Freedia, alongside a new remix by R3HAB.
The track is called “Drop A Bomb,” served with animated visuals directed and produced by Alex Salyer, who has previously worked with Miley Cyrus and Trixie Mattel to name a few. The cosmic visuals capture Riotron and Big Freedia having the time of their lives together in various iconic places around the world, as well as in space aboard a flying saucer.
This summer anthem was written and composed by both artists, bringing to life a banging listening experience ideal to accompany fans during this very hot summer season. This high-energy yet smooth production has already seduced over 3M viewers on YouTube in less than a week, a fantastic start for what seems to be one of Riotron’s most original creations to date.
Riotron’s inspiration and idea of collaborating with Freedia on this project was best explained by the artist himself: “I had wanted a throwback 90’s style rap interlude on the song and thought, imagine if someone like “Big Freedia” just exploded into a 3rd verse right here. Freedia was on tour and stopped into a studio in Cincinnati for an evening and just did it.”
Riotron’s unusually powerful talents have been previously witnessed on “Life Is What We’re Living,” with multiple remixes including by Paul Oakenfold, and with an epic music video featuring actor Tyler Posey and 80s icon Lea Thompson of ‘Back To The Future’. Riotron has previously worked with Black Caviar and Wuki, to name a few. His most popular work to date is the song and music video “I’m Sorry” with over 20M views on YouTube.
With top-notch production dropping one after the other these past months, Riotron is rapidly securing himself a prime spot in the scene, thanks to his special and pioneering ability at interweaving electronic synth-pop, dance-rock, jazz, urban and other genres in a universally relatable fashion.
