8corpses Up and Coming Artist Releases New Song Called, "Chasm"

Straddling the line between rap and dubstep, 8corpses has released his latest song called chasm and it’s an intensely personal track about trauma, addiction and depression that hits hard with an underlying beat designed to complement the vocals. The song is intense, but it’s also incredibly catchy and has a sound that will definitely resonate with anyone who can relate to what he’s saying in the lyrics.

Although it's not that often that you hear an artist sing about complex subjects and attack them with grace and maturity, this is what 8Corpses does. Despite coming from a challenging upbringing and childhood, he still struggles with addiction, PTSD, and schizophrenia to this day. All the depression and anxiety in his life hasn't lessened the quality of his days but what's so fantastic is that he's brought his struggles with these into his music. It's not a struggle for him to divulge what his depression and anxiety do to him and that willingness to go deep has helped make him one of music's biggest rising stars.

8corpses is an up-and-coming artist who released his new song called chasm which mixes a hip hop sounding beat with dubstep undertones. Scaryplain is the producer. The cover art is obscure, as is the subject matter. He talks about the traumatic experiences he has been through and how they have changed him as well as his battles with addiction and depression throughout the song. In this song, he talks about how there are two sides to every story: one side that society sees and one that we experience personally. He also goes on to say that we’re all fighting for survival and in doing so sometimes we make mistakes or do things that we later regret.

The song is available on Spotify and a video of this song is out on youtube. The lyrics go something like remembering your past only to find your future.
