Once blinded by love, Simone Kelly now knows that love should never confuse you. Not too long ago, Kelly found herself in an emotionally abusive relationship, struggling to speak her truth. After rediscovering herself, Kelly built the foundation of self-love and finally began her journey in music. Also recognized as a reality TV figure, Kelly’s love for music started as an adolescent when she recorded music with her uncle, a former rap group member. Prior to the pandemic, worked as a flight attendant for two years while writing soulful R&B tracks for EP, “Up in the Air”.
While Simone Kelly isn’t living a fairytale, she finds comfort in vulnerability and allowing supporters to see themselves mirrored through art. Whether a track forces listeners to relive memories or comforts them through a rough patch, she wants fans to know that they’re not alone. Kelly opened up saying, ‘These records are about my relationship with my ex. I realized we were not as compatible as we thought due to the bubble we were living in.’
