King Lil G, music has always been his passion. Drawing inspiration from his Mexican roots, the L.A. based rapper is determined to become the best Mexican rapper in America. In 2001, he recorded his first song with Suge Knight followed by several projects, including Blue Devil, King Enemy, and AK47 Boyz, which features the successful single “Hopeless Boy.” The music video has amassed 69 million views on YouTube.
The rising rapper’s love for music started at the age of 12, and he says he chose music because “hip-hop comes from the streets…and so do I.” He describes his style as unique and when asked about his inspiration, King Lil G says that Tupac Shakur and Mexican cartel music are what inspire him to create music.
King Lil G has worked with several artists in the past, including Tory Lanez, Too Short and the late Nipsey Hussle. With 11 Billboard plaques under his belt, King Lil G is on the rise on becoming a household name in the hip-hop scene.
