Massachusetts Plow Drivers Brace For More Snowfall

ALLSTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts residents, including snow plow drivers, are bracing for another snowstorm hitting New England on Tuesday.

The Boston National Weather Service is predicting a total snowfall between 5 to 7 inches. Forecasters expect Western and Central Massachusetts and the North Shore to see the higher totals.

That comes as trucks at the Public Works Station on Eastern Street in Allston have been preloaded with salt for drivers to respond to the winter weather.

And some snow removal team members aren't thrilled about having to dig out again -- especially after the snowfall last week and over the weekend.

“We’ll be out there tonight," Brian, a worker in Allston said. "I just came back from doing it as I was finishing up.”

He added that he's more worried about areas farther in the west instead of communities closer to Boston.

"Like usual, in that little snow area, that “you’re screwed” area out there, [in] Worcester,” he said.

The NWS Boston winter storm warning is in effect until 10 p.m. Tuesday evening.
