Nicki Minaj may have rocked the Twitterverse when she announced her retirement from music this week, but many fans - and a certain Hot Girl - aren't buying it.
Megan Thee Stallion told Ashlee backstage at Summer Jam that she doesn't believe Minaj's feature on "Hot Girl Summer" will be her last musical performance.
"I don't believe her," the rapper said. "I think she's just talking right now."
Minaj took to Twitter Thursday to make the surprise announcement and let fans know that she would be focusing on her family going forward.
"I've decided to retire & have my family," Minaj wrote. "I know you guys are happy now." She then added a note to fans with lyrics from her feature on the remix of Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire."
"To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me," she wrote, "X in the box- cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE." The tweet has since been deleted.
